I was looking around for a personal preparedness for forum here, but didn't see one. Any chance of there being one?

Personally, I'd rather go to another site that's dedicated to that topic.

When I've seen it as a subsection on gun forums, it tends to attract wannabe apocalyptic, "survivalists" like flies on rotting zombie corpses.

There was a thread on this when I joined. I would like to see a place where "I got the best deal on ____________". Something with a PA, not a national spin on it. But I agree, I don't want to see "I'll head to the hills with all my guns and kill anyone that comes close to me"

I'll second the suggestion for NDE. I lurk over there a lot. TONS of useful ideas, not just the typical "head for teh hills!!!11!!1 Take yer GuNZ!!1!!1!!" crap that is on a lot of sites.

I hear that. I have the same conversation with the same friend. His idea of prepare is stock up on ammo. but what are you going to do for ah lets say water.

Bullets, babes, booze and bandaids are all you need!


Food, water, medical supplies are very important. But the ammo allows you to keep them.

If you have them all you are GTG!
