I noticed this study, and ones with similar conclusions, never mention what would happen if people didn't violate the vehicle or criminal codes.

My buddy lives in NC and has NC plates...plus it's a Disabled Veteran plate. Douche Statey still didn't cut us a break. BTW he was a young gun right out of central casting with the tilted smokey hat, aviators, short sleeves modified to be tight on his biceps, swagger. Oh, he was gonna write a ticket alright.

As a new rookie, having a conversation with a training officer about giving breaks or writing tickets, he said if you write a ticket, they*ll call you a jerk off. If you don*t write the ticket, they*ll call you a p*ssy. Which one do you want to be called?

I had a similar conversation somewhere around 35 years ago, when I was just starting. My take on it was, call me whatever the hell you want, happy motoring.
