Did you notice if those $200 9mm were steel cased? He sells both and steel cased run a few dollars cheaper than brass.

Re: Oaks Show Feb 10 -12?
I walk with a cane and find it a PITA to walk in Crowds so would prefer to go when less traffic... is it busier in the AM Or PM?
Also looking to pick an AR lower or 2. Looking for something Mid Range quality.. Any recommendations?
Thanks,
Steve

Going tomorrow with a few guys from work. Either going to look for a variety of retro AR and G-3 parts or a S&W snub nose. Or a 9mm 1911 slide and barrel. Can't spend too much though, gotta hit up the toy train store afterwards.

Re: Oaks Show Feb 10 -12?
I went this afternoon around 2. Wasn't empty, but wasn't extremely crowded either. A number of tables were not set up yet. Found a couple of things that I have been looking for. Prices for a lot of things have come down. I did notice that there was more "survival rations" than before, not just MREs, but stuff that one might actually want to survive on.
Yes, the entrance fee has increased, but what hasn't other than stuff that was so far up that it became unobtainium. I may go tomorrow, or maybe not. I always like going at least one day - to support the crowd if nothing else. The anti crowd likes nothing better than to see these things go away. If a couple of extra bucks keeps you from flying the flag, I feel sorry for all of us.Know your audience. Don't try to sell a Prius at a Monster Truck Rally.

I didn't go to Oaks when it was $13 either. I find it obnoxious to pay $15 to go look at a bunch of stuff that I may not even buy. I've heard vendors grumble in the past that the tables are pretty pricey too, I don't know if that's still true or not. Not sure where the money's going, but if it's just a matter that the Expo Center charges too much money to rent the space, the promoters need to find a cheaper venue.
