A teenager who was shot while attempting to carjack someone in Philadelphia has been charged in connection with the incident.

The 17-year-old faces two counts of robbery, one count of attempted carjacking, and weapons charges, FOX Philadelphia reported. The teen was on probation in a nearby county at the time of the shooting.

He allegedly tried carjacking a Honda Civic with two people inside on Jan. 28 just before midnight, the news outlet said.

Authorities said he pointed a gun at two passengers, one of whom has a license to carry a firearm. That person shot the teen in the chest and shoulder.

The suspect was taken to a hospital by first responders in stable condition. The shooter has not been charged.

It looks like that poor, disadvantaged yute is too young to have his good name stained by putting it in the report.

Given the time and location, I'm going to dump here under 'FAFO'.

Philadelphia police say two teenagers were shot on Friday night in the Old City neighborhood. The shooting happened just after 8 p.m. at 1 Chestnut Street.

And yet, here we are in norf philly. Social media speculation is that the intended victim lured them into that building, then ambushed all of them.

    Update -

    https://6abc.com/shooting-homicide-q...ence/13021132/

It happened just before 12 p.m. on the 1900 block of North 19th Street.

All four victims were taken to Temple University Hospital by police and medics.

Two of the victims, ages 22 and 24, were pronounced dead at the hospital.

Additionally, a 20-year-old is in critical condition after being shot in the neck, and a 32-year-old is in stable condition after he was shot twice in the leg.

Investigators have recovered three firearms from the scene.

Why does it make sense that we allow these * to walk around in high-crime areas in public wearing ski masks? That alone is reasonable articulable suspicion to warrant a stop-and-frisk.

Please cite the statute where it states that, while walking around in public, anyone wearing a ski mask can just arbitrary be detained and searched?

Is "looking suspicious" a misdemeanor or felony?

AJ should mandate masks for whatever reason and we should be allowed to shoot anyone wearing one.

No such statute and no reason for a legal stop, but are you saying if two guys wearing full ski masks covering their faces, with todays weather, walked into a convenience store you were in, you would not give them you full attention?

Not saying that. You better believe they would have my full attention. Others have gotten my attention for far less. Keeping a watchful eye on someone is a different story.
