I thought I would post this link since I was looking at maybe buying a quality revolutionary war reproduction rifle. Maybe some of you here would be interested in this site since they seem to have quite a selection including pre and post-civil war. as well as pistols.

Everything is 599. Looks fishy but I'm overly suspicious these days.

They are made in India

Stock wood is teak

The locks are iffy function-wise

Prevailing wisdom in the BP community is hit or miss if you get a reliably functioning one even after you spend time and $ tuning the lock, hardening the frizzen, lightening the trigger pull, etc.
That being said, I am told they have improved over the last 10 years.

Indian made repros,the castings can be rough from what I've read. They're also sold as non-firing and the vent hole will need to be drilled out. The rifles are all sold as smoothbores. They state its for sales to Europe and the UK.

I guess the question is are these repro's worth the price? Cost wise they are priced about half of what most of what I have seen out there.

From my experience Pedersoli makes some good reproductions, Traditions is pretty low end and I hear that Jim Chambers makes some gorgeous kits.
