Re: Transfer Fees going up
I picked up an item from Dutch Mountain Armory in Newtown Square. $20 for a transfer. And it was super fast.

Re: Transfer Fees going up
I never heard of the place, will check it out. Sounds like you got a deal. Looking on line it says they charge $35
https://www.dutchmountainarmory.com/policies
TRANSFERS
Standard Transfers: We charge a receiving/background check fee of $35.00 for standard non- NFA transfers.
Blind Transfers: We charge a non-negotiable $100 blind transfer fee to release an item for which the transfer was not pre-paid. Please call ahead or stop by and pre-pay for any transfer coming our way. All items not paid will be sent back at original owners/original FFL expense. What is a blind transfer? Any item for which we have zero pre-payment for an item going on our log books. Please, we don't send mail to your house without telling you, don't send your mail to ours without telling us.
Edit to add, looks like it is in the same shopping center as the crabcake place Bogey1 was talking about in another thread.

Re: Transfer Fees going up
Donley's Gun Shop just north of Quakertown on 309 is $25. Dave and Shirley Donley are great people and easy to deal with.

Re: Transfer Fees going up
I will echo other advice of looking at local FFLs and/or gunsmiths. I have 2 guys in my area that I use and both have been $20. Try the FFL Finder on Gunbroker.
