I'd have told him to keep it for that shit.

Most places around here are 30-40 bucks for internet/private transfer. Only "fee" I've seen is one shop charges the actual $5 pics fee on top of everything. Seems kinda petty to me, but I've bought there if the price was right.

I'd give them an extra ten just because.

I know that most things have gone up in price, I just feel $50 is way too much to do little work by the FFL.

He just got robbed. Strange situation if you ask me. Perp broke a door or window and only took one bolt gun.

Today, I was at Kings Shooter and the guy told me they charge $75 for internet transfer.

Most places that charge $50+ are trying to make up for you not buying from them or it*s their way of saying they don*t want you as a customer if you aren*t going to them for everything.

JMB Guns near Tuckerton/Reading is $25. He's a member here.

I haven't used Kerper's in Bowmansville for a couple years, but they were like $20 pre-scamdemic IIRC.

I saw that in the news and agree that it seems odd.

Swamp Pike Firearms and Transfers is a good option near Pottstown. $32 I believe, appointment only, it's not a storefront, you'll be out of there in 10 minutes.

King's is silly with their $75 for online. Though for buy a used gun FTF they are $35.

I suppose it's sticker shock on FFL prices for me, since I used to buy online a lot and have them shipped into the local dealership.

King's used to be a good place to go for prices, but when I was there yesterday, they had the Ruger LC carbine in 5.7 and it was $200+ more than online vendors. So that was why I was surprised that they wanted $75 for internet purchase.
