Default Sig P230 .380 worth owning?

A friend is offering me his P230 .380 pistol if I want it (Buy it, not free) Sadly, it is not the stainless version.

I know nothing about them or if they are desirable, reliable, enjoyable to shoot etc.

What are they worth and are they worth owning & shooting?

They're nice guns. Not practical compared to modern pocket semiautos, but a fuck of a lot better than a garbage PPK. And it was actually used by the Brits. For the right price it's worth having in a collection or for occasional carry.

I always wanted one in .32 ACP but way too pricey for what they are. They were like $7-800 new when they were still in production.

Got one of those Eyetalian prison guard import Beretta 81s for $225 instead. I love it!

Regret selling mine to a close friend years ago. As long as its oiled up its a very reliable, accurate 380. Super light and thin and a joy to carry.
As long as you like DA/SA autos its a keeper and wish I still had mine.

I bought one about 20 years ago. It's an accurate gun and never had an issue with. It's stainless and good looking gun too. Mine came with night sights that are still active today. The negative; the decocking lever is awkward to use and the magazine release is on the bottom of the magazine well. I'm not sure about the availability of extra magazines.
