Your most-favorite semi 22lr pistol ?
I'm looking to add a new one but what a selection these days? I remember when it was either a Ruger MK2,MK3 or a Beretta/Taurus pocket rocket. Now there is so many!!
FN,Glock,Ruger,Kel-Tek,Taurus,S&W. Probably missing a few.
Whats the most tactical-cool, high capacity 22lr in your opinion. And if price does not matter, and you only want to buy one.
I'm leaning on the FN502 but havent searched everything yet.Last edited by rich e; January 22nd, 2023 at 03:27 PM.

I really like the Browning Challenger I got when I was 10 years old or so.

Favorite? Really it's my one and only! An early 1970's version of the High Standard Model 107 Tournament with the 1911 grip angle.
I'd love to get A Hammerli SP-20 or even Xesse but I have shot in Standard Pistol competition in over 30 years. So really kinda senseless.

There's already 20+ threads on this topic, but I'll play.
free's pistol is not tacticool, but probably good for target/marksmanship.
My Sig Misquito is tacticool, but not good for competition.

Re: Your most-favorite semi 22lr pistol ?
I sold my ruger MKII. I could not get it to fire twice in a row without jamming, regardless of the ammo. It was endlessly frustrating, and no amount of cleaning or tweaking could get it to work.
I like my walther ppk in .22 with can. It's awesome for dispatching rodents. Without the can it's ok until the last few rounds then it jams. With the can, it just keeps going.
