My Stainless MKII will only fire CCI Minimags. No failures at all. Any other ammo fails at some point. It is a joy to fire though.

The picture I posted was of one I found online.

This discussion got me thinking...which version do I have? The I, II, or III?

So I went and took a picture.

Serial number ends with U6 and it is made in Belgium. I think it is a Challenger I from 1966. Anyone disagree?

In other Browning .22 semi-auto news - this was in dad's collection. Now it is in kid #1's collection:

Vintage Smith #41 &#46 are hard to beat ... & that is coming from a Colt fan.

BUT, if price & capacity are prime considerations ... has anyone played with a new Sig P322?

I don*t have a favorite 22 semi cause none I ever owned shot any ammo. Mines a S&W K22 revolver.

I've never really been into .22lrs, have owned a few over the years but nothing really exciting. My favorite is probably the one that my wife owns at this time, a Ruger MKIV (stainless with the 5 1/2" bull barrel).
Tomorrow's battle is won during today's practice.

Nah, .22LR suppressed is freaking sweet. It's about as loud as my pellet rifle and it's super cheap to shoot.

As for .22LR pistols I own a Ruger SR22 and finally found the FN502 last year after searching forever. I'm more partial to the FN being similar in size to my FN509C.
