I can shoot a rifle with one hand.
Using the AT-effer's former(current?) logic, doing so reconfigured it into a pistol.

No, because a pistol has a "short stock" by definition

What country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms!

Wouldn't a handstop also be designed for two handed use? They just haven't updated their rules to include handstops and AFG yet.

    Shhh...

Can a double amputee even own a gun? They can't use any firearm designed to shoot with one or two hands. Can you have a VFG if you grip it with your toes?
Replace the trigger with a straw to blow into. Is it a machine gun if it doesn't have a trigger? One shot per blow.

There's different kinds of double amputees though. Both legs, both arms, arm/leg on right, side, arm/leg on left side. I'd say yes. Now if they're also blind that could be a problem.

Does a deaf person have to register themselves as a suppressor?

There are several ways a human being can function as a suppressor, but none are survivable.

Unless that's how one could become a double amputee.
