I havent kept up with this entire thread, apologies if this is old news.

In short the new rules include all imported pistols that ever wore a brace are now illegal, non stampable, and must be turned in or destroyed.

These clickbait youtubers like to cry the sky is falling, hopefully this is the case. If this is true, its pretty infuriating.

Looks like a potential back door confiscation on imported pistols as well. Isn*t that just wonderful.

Ditch the brace, don't attempt to register, make them prove it doesn't meet 922r. It's been the topic of discuss for years about sbr imported pistols.

That does appear to be the case. Page 29: https://www.atf.gov/rules-and-regula...iapdf/download

It seems that would only apply if it was purchased with a brace. Cue ATF to issue 'requests' to vendors for sales records.

Merely purchased WITH a brace, or purchased WITH A BRACE ATTACHED? There's a big difference.

i have seen different videos saying if sold with brace attached, sold with brace and one that said if a brace was ever attached. my stribog was sold without a brace but some are sold with it attached and some just include a brace. the rules are clear as mud.
