ATF Just Released Their Brace Ruling

So if you bought a blank receiver and built a pistol. Would you just need to remove the brace or do you need to remove the short barrel? Or both?

One OR the other.

Option 1. Remove brace.
Ta-DA!!! It's still a pistol. No further action required.

Option 2. Remove sub-sixteen inch barrel and replace with sixteen inch or longer barrel.
Ta-DA!!! It's a rifle. With a dorky pistol brace. No further action required. (other than maybe trashing the brace and putting a stock on it)

Option 3. SUBMIT!!!
Accept the fed's "generous" offer to get a free tax stamp!
TRUST US! NOTHING BAD WILL HAPPEN. We're from the government and we're here to help, and all that happy horseshit.

Isn't 3 torch cuts for importation of machineguns? Plenty of police "buyback" guns are saw cut.....

In light of recent court rulings over bump stocks and WV vs EPA to continue down this unwinnable path the ATF is just going to waste more tax payer dollars to lose another court case... true insanity to do things over and over and expect different results.
