You sure that was Tanners @ Oaks show - I've never seen them there.

    Maybe confused with BUNKER GUN?

Duh! You are correct. Sometimes I'm as dumb as Joe Biden.

Well, whomever the new owner is I hope they manage the place as well or better than the Tanners. They did a great job for a long time and especially during covid.

Better than Raymond ... is that possible?

Just busting you, but you are totally right - new owner has BIG shoes to fill.

In my opinion, most retailers could learn from the way Tanner's does business.

I'm rooting for the new owner to continue the tradition.

I was there yesterday. Aside from what appears to be a lady running the place and not being as busy as usual, it seems to be the same. The lady was attentive to customers and polite, but I didn't interact with her besides saying I was just looking. There were some employees I recognized from before and a few I didn't. I don't think the prices changed, but not positive. The one thing I noticed was that there seemed to be less accessories on the shelves and some shelves were removed since last time I was there.

Question. About a decade ago, give it take, I bought a Ruger Mkii from an Eastern PA dealer who set up at the Lebanon show, and had a great selection but was getting out of guns to focus on something else...in house ammo production maybe? I want to say it might have been Tanners, but it's been so long I cant remember.

Does that seem right, or was it someone else?

It was mobbed last Saturday, looked like the same staff. My 50$ giftcard got me 2 boxes of 9mm, and a box of .45
