LTCF Application - reason

Greetings. I am going to apply for LTCF. The application requires reason box to be checked off. If I select ‘self-defense,’ would I not be able to carry my gun to the range or vice versa? Can I select multiple boxes? I think this will appear on my license once issued.

the reason doesnt limit your ability to carry once approved.

Even if it was true; you are carrying your gun(s) to the range for self defense, so you will be in compliance.

You can actually check them all. As long as self defense is checked you're good to go.

A Bucks Co deputy told me that like 25 years ago so it must be true.

No matter what you check, the Sheriff will mark self defense. Anything else, I guess isn't a valid reason. But you are covered carrying multiple pistols or whatever to the range or club in my case. Just check self defense.
For all lawful purposes isn't a choice. And it's not an essay question.
