I just saw this thing yesterday.
I love all new guns. The more the merrier.
Who gives a fuck if you (any "you") don't like it? Don't buy it.
Someone does and that's all that matters.

I used to be highly opposed to modernized lever guns, but that was back when that Mossberg abomination appeared on the scene.
This looks good and seems pretty functional.
The mag thing... not sure how I feel about it. I couldn't give a fuck that it's a proprietary mag - big deal. Why should every gun maker design their gun around someone else's magazine?
It would be ten times more sleek if it utilized a tube mag, but maybe it was a design issue?
A mag makes reloads ten times faster, so that's probably why they went that route.
I'd buy one, but it's never gonna happen at it's price point.
    Doesn't mean it's dumb though.

    Christ on his throne.
Someone needs to see the inside of a jail cell for coming up with that homely shit.

Would a tube fed even be possible using 9mm FMJ?
I know there's concern for pointy bullet tips of rifle rounds being in contact with the primer of the round ahead of it, but are the "rounder" bullets of a 9mm safe/safer?

If this ever happens I would certainly hope that people wouldn't be worried about finding ways of skirting the law with guns like this because they'd be too busy hunting the politicians that enacted such tyranny.

You mean like how they all just buy semi-auto AR15s instead of full auto?

But yeah, I get your point.

Well, that didn't exactly happen the last time we had an assault weapon ban. I'm guessing it'll be the same if it happens again.

Exactly. If anything, sales of lever actions, pump rifles, and bolt guns went up during the AWB.
