Default Bud's Gun Shop Faces a Lawsuit After Highland Park Shooting

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/crime..._nVcM76NHkoqQg

In July 2022, a shooter opened fire with an assault-style rifle from the top of a commercial building, spraying bullets over the crowd gathered below. Seven people died as a result of the attack, and dozens more were injured, including a young boy who was paralyzed.

Associated Press initially reported that the shooter had legally acquired five firearms in Illinois, including the one used in the deadly attack. However, in late September 2022, Jason and Keely Roberts filed a lawsuit against Bud's Gun Shop as well as Smith & Wesson Brands and Red Dot Arms LLC.

The Roberts are parents to a child who was paralyzed by a bullet that hit him at the Highland Park parade. According to the lawsuit, Bud's Gun Shop sold the gun that the alleged shooter Robert Crimo III used to carry out his attack. Highland Park doesn't allow residents to acquire or possess assault weapons.

The Bud's Gun Shop lawsuit also claims that the Lexington-based store shipped the assault rifle to Red Dot Arms, a gun dealer in Illinois, and that Red Dot completed the transfer to the alleged shooter. According to the lawsuit, both gun shops knew that Crimo's address prohibited him from owning the weapon.

I think that the Right needs to use the same legal harassment tactics that the Left is using. The anti-gun cabal files lawsuits to scare everyone in the industry, from the manufacturer to the retail seller, with the costs of litigation discouraging future participation, while the costs of prosecuting these baseless suits is just a hobby for billionaires who fund them. Add in the harassment from banks and credit card processors and zoning officials, and it starts to look like a RICO conspiracy in restraint of trade.

So the Right should locate some women who had abortions and now regret them, and have them sue the Planned Parenthood facility, the national organization, the doctors, the nurses, the landlords. Conservatives have philanthropic billionaires too, they could underwrite lawsuits to destroy everyone enabling the evils we oppose.

Get regretful trans kids to sue their teachers and principals and guidance counselors for the negligent advice. Sue any doctors who did "top surgery" on under-18 year olds, sue the docs who prescribed medicines that sabotaged the natural puberty hormones produced by healthy bodies.

Sue airlines and pilots and bus drivers and bus companies who transport illegal aliens all around the country so they can disappear and never show up for their bogus "sanctuary" hearings. Sue the motels that hide them. Sue the NGO's that profit from govt contracts to bring them in and settle them in as colonists.

Make THEIR passions too expensive and risky to pursue, making sure that all lawsuits are grounded in existing law or in reasonable extensions of existing law. Medical malpractice is a real thing, damaging kids puts doctors on the hook for the rest of those people's lives. Some illegal alien rapes and murders your 9 year old, sue every asshole who made that possible, including the Mexican govt.

I agree, this is one of many things that the left does that we should be doing to them in kind.
