I wouldn't go due to it being cashless. Just like sporting events and concerts.

The key word is "debt". Buying something isn't necessarily a debt. If you can convince them to let you pay later, then you might be on to something!

I believe this started yesterday. Anybody attend yet?

I have never been, but have to burn some vacation days and was thinking of going during the week.

I haven't gone to this one (yet) but I may see if Daycrawler wants to go, we went last year and met up with Gripsafety for a minute. 27hand reported that he was there, he might be on his way home now. I booked my AK fishing trip out of that show last year, trip is this July.

I am curious if there will be as many vendors at Oaks next weekend if this is going on.

I don't think there is any conflict. The Outdoor show is more manufacturers displaying their wares and outfitters and guides tolling for customers. The Oaks Gun Show is a completely different animal.

yup it was fun met a lot of people some of which we met at shot show. Lot of good stuff if you get over there check out Alpine innovations they have some nice gear for hunting and they manufacture in the US. Got a chance to swing by the Patmos ( AKA JSD supply) booth and shoot the breeze with them as well. Overall it was an excellent show.

There were quite a few vendors there but this is more of a total outdoors show , it covers all aspects camping, hunting, prepping , fishing etc. Oaks is a mainly firearm ... and pickle show. Both are equally worth it.
