Re: 🔥 Bottling up some Boilo
If it comes from the coal region it has alcohol in it... We used to describe a lot of those towns as having either a bar or a church on every corner and it was not far from true.
I always knew Bolio as a Skook thing, rather than an overall regional thing though.
With the current forecast, it might be time to make some...Last edited by gghbi; December 23rd, 2022 at 12:43 PM.

Re: 🔥 Bottling up some Boilo
I know nothing about Boilo but it is obvious the girl in the video didn't know what she was doing. From what I read its supposed to be very strong and not cooked fruit with a little alcohol. And using a dozen cinnamon sticks in anything is ridiculous.
This seems like a better recipe and the article talks about its Lithuanian roots. TYhe addition of caraway sounds unique and I might be temped to make a small batch.

Re: 🔥 Bottling up some Boilo
Must be. I think Skooks have damaged taste buds from inhaling all that coal dust.
I got an Italian hoagie at the Wawa by Cabela's when I worked over there.
I usually check my drive through orders, but I don't usually unwrap my hoagie in the store to make sure it's right.
It had the correct order receipt taped to it, but it was not an Italian hoagie. It was tunafish with pickles, peppers, and yellow mustard.
There is no doubt in my mind that it was ordered by a Skook.Accuse your enemy of what you are doing as you are doing it to create confusion -Karl Marx
