YAY! A gun thread at last!!!

    Nice guns!

Are those numbers model numbers, or the actual years they were manufactured?
I'm assuming the latter, but I'm not a 1911 guy.
I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

It was good enough for my Dad to carry onto Omaha beach and throughout Europe. It was the first handgun I learned how to shoot, carry and maintain. And my daily carry gun from the time I first received my carry permit at age 21 through today (40+ years). I’ve owned many variants over the years, all Colts, and they’ve never let me down; whether shooting in competition or defense.
