True. However, Wind Creek in Bethlehem has a rather extensive childcare center right below their casino. They do have a nice kid arcade which my daughter once won the 32,000 ticket jackpot. We still have a few thousand credit tickets we haven't used!

Now I remember. Mount Airy was the honeymoon spot and every room had a heart shaped Jacuzzi tub and cheesy 70's decor. They had a bunch of "theme rooms" where you could screw all weekend with background of your choice. I was thinking about getting the mirror room once. By the early 90's it got pretty run down and even more sleezy so it closed and they eventually tore it down. The new casino was built on the site.

You are right and it is still there. A lot of the articles about the old Mount Airy have the pictures mixed up.

Edit. Now I'm confused. Here is a recent article saying cove Haven was abandoned and they have pics of the same heart shaped Jacuzzi with the mirrored background. Or did all of the hotels up there have a heart shaped tub? I particularly liked the red shag carpeting on the walls.

Never went to a resort in the ponoconos. Went bowling once up there. Went 4x4ing once up there, at night.
A friend broke a u bolt on the front of his axle. Had to drive home to delco like, that as back in the day,
no auto stores were open on sundays.

I sometimes think of how much inconvenience and adult freedom is sacrificed "for the children." Can't have tits on the beach, have to follow those damn school busses down the street, the incessant noise from curb-side basketball hoops, crying, noisy little snots on planes and trains and in restaurants. What if we had adults-only states and then states for people with children? Everyone with kids must live in Utah or Indiana or Kansas or some shithole and we get the rest of the place to do as we please and openly enjoy the vices of our choosing? Once your little darlings reach the age of majority, you can reintegrate back into one of the adult states and start having fun again.

    I'd be down with that.

They closed down the one on 611 near Bartonsville some time ago. Cove, Paradise Stream and Pocono Palace still operate.
