Default ⚠️ Ford recalls over 634,000 SUVs due to fuel leaks and fire risk

🔥 Ford Motor Co. is recalling over 634,000 SUVs worldwide because a cracked fuel injector can spill fuel or leak vapors onto a hot engine and cause fires.

The recall covers Bronco Sport and Escape SUVs from the 2020 through 2023 model years. All have 1.5-liter, three-cylinder engines.
The Dearborn, Michigan, automaker said Thursday it's not recommending that owners stop driving the vehicles or park them outdoors because fires are rare and generally don't happen when the engines are off.

And their answer so far is a software update that lets you know if you have a cracked injector.

Oh hell, this was happening years ago, and they finally admit it now? My daughter's brand new 2000 Explorer caught fire on her way to work. Engine compartment. Total loss. She actually tried to put it out with a fire extinguisher.
Ford told her to call her insurance company. She lost her down payment, had to pay off the loan, which was upside down. The car had 3000 miles on it.

3 cylinder 1.5L in an SUV? My old Geo Storm had a bigger engine.

But first you'll have to subscribe to a yearly Cracked Fuel Injector Warning system.

What? That doesnt even make sense. She took the ass due to a faulty vehicle that only had 3k on it?
