I have to think that Philly cops and detectives have be completely burned out responding to and processing these endless shootings and murders. I don't know how they do it day in and day out just to cling to the hope of a modest pension some day. They like to say cops go into the job because they want to help people and communities. When the people and communities engage in slaughtering each other every day, at some point it must be really hard to still give a fuck.

Maybe they should just patrol and service the statistically "good" neighborhoods be they white, black or Hispanic and forget the rest of the crime infested city and just leave the dead bodies on the street to rot.

That would be a lot of cops patrolling Chestnut Hill.

Ha. There's still Manayunk, most of East Falls, far NE, CC, Fairmount/Art Museum, Rittenhouse Square, Old City, Society Hill, Queen Village, Newbold and other parts of South Philly. Even Overbrook in West Philly where this incident happened isn't too bad especially the western part bordering City Ave and Upper Darby.

Out of your list, I may concede the Greater NE, but that Wawa incident happened there. I'm pretty sure the other areas all have/had shootings, even Manayunk and CC.
