IIIa plate carrier is easily concealable under my jacket as well, you'd think I just put on 20lb. Now if I'm going into the city, there's the m35a1 with top mount m1919 in 30-06 which gives me 2 boxes of 200 rounds, for added security.
Seems a little excessive, but go big or go home!

Not sure I'd bet my life on only 5 rounds but that's just me.

I have been carrying a Glock 17 with spare mag for several months now. Before that was a P320 full size with spare mag. I do not change my carry rotation due to the holiday season.

there is a website that tracks violence on black friday. in 2021 there were 5 events in which 8 people were shot. 3 of those people died. from 2006 to 2021 there have been 17 deaths and 125 injuries on black friday. i honestly think the current political environment is a bigger concern for violence then holiday shopping.

Sounds like I have a better chance of winning the Powerball than being attacked while shopping, or visiting family.

Not really a code red but it does equal a lot more people out and about. For a mass shooter I'd think it's prime time season with a higher than average amount of people out in stores as well as all the crazies running around.

Maybe I'm overthinking it, I'm surprised most don't change their routine up at all based on location or time of year/events etc.
