Best 22lr scope under $500?

Looking for a scope for a 22lr rifle for under $500. Would love if it worked out to 300 yards. Target shooting. So far I've read a bit on the following, any votes or other ones I should be looking at?

Athlon Argos BTR 6-24
Vortex Diamondback Tactical 6-24

I would look at Riton too. They are a veteran owned, made in the USA company with very reasonable prices and many of them are under $500.

.22lr out to 300 yards you want a dead hold scope. I have the Vortex Crossfire II 6-24x50mm AO Dead-Hold BDC Riflescope.

On my latest .22LR project, a Mossberg 42M(made in the 1930s), I attached a Vortex Strike Eagle 4-24x50mm. It cost me about $350 from EuroOptic.
My custom made scope base is 0 MOA so I almost ran out of adjustment to ring steel at 300. If you have the option of adding a 20 MOA base then I highly recommend that scope.

Edit: I’d still recommend it even if you can’t use a 20 MOA base, just be aware that you would be pushing it near the limits of it’s adjustment.

I’d do the Arken SH4. The features it offers for under $300 are incredible! 34mm tube, tactile Turrets, Illumination, Lifetime Warranty and incredible Glass clarity. Look at Rex Tibor’s review on YouTube.
