    Default Test Fired M240

I took my M240 out to New Holland Gun Club last Wensday. I put 20 rounds on the steel plate at 200 yards and 20 rounds on the steel plate at 300 yards with open sites. I did shoot at 400, 500, and 600 yard steel plates. My son was watching and he did call many hits on all of those plates.

I just can't believe how accuarate this rifle is with open sites. Every shot hit on 200 & 300 yards plates, even when rapid firing.

Soon I will be installing my Eotech VUDU 5x25 Scope on it. I did a temporary mount on the M240 to make sure it fit and allowed me to open the Top Cover and clear my Handle mounted on the Barrel.

ECCO Machine & Fabrication is building me an adapter for my threaded barrel so I can install a OSS Suppressor Brake Mount on the M240. That will allow me to mount my OSS HX-QD 762 Ti Suppressor on it.

You've obviously never humped an M-60.

I have a DPMS LR308, 24" SS heavy barrel, Gen 1, with a bipod and scope that weighs around 26 pounds with a full magazine.
Lets just say this is not my first choice for a patrol rifle.
