They can't be that expensive; probably less than $100 - $150 and not 15 minutes of labor. Then you get the pistol back, and can deal with the seller for reimbursement for repairs, parts, and freight. Ask for the old parts back; you need them for reimbursement along with the invoice.
Exactly, like I stated previously mainly the charges were for shipping.

    Keep in mind.
Def is an easy fix in terms of parts and labor, but initially I sent it back because the grip safety was loose and had no spring tension. Not knowing the other issues. And to find out other components were not exactly up to stock spec (their words) or damaged, is not fun and more of a surprise. So yeah i believe out of safety they would never send a gun back like that.

Gun is already on its way back. Total bill wasn’t crazy. But it’s more of an inconvenience. As I wouldn’t have purchased this gun if I knew etc.

So I’ll push for reimbursement with the seller. Worst case scenario, I’m out a some $$. But I know I have factory spec gun.

Main concern is peace of mind.

I assume that the manufacturer put the details of what they did in writing, either as emails or invoices. That's admissible as documents in the ordinary course of business, an exception to the hearsay rule.

Print the ad out, add the material from the mfgr, and you have a case. Whether it's worth the cost of filing and service and the time, is not for me to say. But PAFOA is a valuable forum, nobody should lightly allow their reputation to be destroyed, and a post with the ad and the invoice would be useful for the 80,000 or so members to see.

Staccato has really good customer service so I hope they took care of you with fixing the issues

    Out the bastard!!!

I have bought and sold a few guns on the forum and I haven't had any problems.... I fear that the classifieds are going to see an increase on shady stuff...

If you paid 1900 for a staccato you didn’t really get much of a deal.

Help me understand, why would someone not use their username here if they were legit? Why do most sellers have a 3 post count and name that never posts on the forums? Hiding something? I'm just curious because if I were a seller I would use my account here, what do I have to hide?

Yup a description of work was sent to me.

At this point I don’t need to go down that route.

    I appreciate everyone’s input.

Post the scumbags name to at least save the next person that may deal with him.
