ORISKANY — While COVID variants are still out there, New York may be moving on from the worst of it -- or at the least updating supplies and equipment for a possible next wave.

One sign of that is the auction that the state Office of General Services has scheduled for later in the month, in which some 1,300 decommissioned COVID response items will be auctioned off over two days.
