I saw a new semi-auto with a suppressor on it for $12K near here six months ago or so.

Join the 1919a4 forum and sturmgewehr forum.

The M2 is a gun that can be just as dangerous at both ends. They are to be respected and understood. I suggest taking an armorer class if you have zero experience with the M2 and one will be landing on your door step. That way you can gain an intimate knowledge of how it works and how to maintain it. Ive seen them have out of battery explosions and although I havent seen anyone injured, the cost to replace expensive parts is enough motivation to take the M2 seriously. Bowing your right side plate would be a financial disaster.

But enough of the scary stories.

Semi and transferable M2s are rising in price. Parts are are getting pricier and harder to find. The only thing holding constant is the price of surplus US ammo thankfully.

You will see that price varies wildly by manufacturer, model, age, condition, and accessories. Accessories is huge. Tripods, mounts, tools, links, linkers, optics, etc.

A semi M2 is pretty fun. But if you have the transferable money then go that route. Its a serious investment.

There are some gatling triggers for the semi M2 out there.

There are some semi parts kits being imported. They were advertised at $6500, with no barrel or tripod. Hopefully I get one and I can build out a semi M2 for under $9k.

Did anyone test the semi auto M2s for accuracy?

How about a hit at 2500 yards?!

It's entirely dependent on the condition of your barrel and the ammo you're using.

I'd love to take it out that far, 220 yards is wasting ammo imo.

These targets are about 8x10 can barely see them thats why we painted them, and still looked like a pack of cigarettes.

I dont think of it as a long range cartridge really, especially surplus ammo. Its an anti material cartridge. I think its a waste when youre not shooting up old cars.

    I went with OOW M2-SLR.
Now I have to find a range to test it.
Does anyone know a range near Malvern, PA that would allow M2-SLR?
    Thank you
