Default Odds of Assault Weapons Ban in PA

    Hey Everyone,

Still down about the election results this last Tuesday. I was ruminating, and now that it appears the D’s are gonna take control of the state house, and control the governors mansion, what do you all think are the chances that we get NJ style gun control here in PA? I know the senate is under R control, but thinking the worst, if we lose that in 2024, GodForbid, I can see us going the way of NJ in as early as 2025. I hope I’m wrong, and I vote every time to fight against that outcome. What do y’all think?

Last I heard we were going to barely hold on to the house. There are some super close counts still going on. In Bucks County, there's currently a ONE VOTE difference in one house race. In another, it's 14. If anyone here didn't get off his ass an vote, FU, fool. Only good news is military votes have yet to be counted and although we're losing the military fast, I believe it's still majority R.

As for any really crazy gun control shit, I thinks even the dems know not to poke the bear. Too many gun owners in PA.

I hope we triumph ultimately. I was reading that and assault weapons ban was proposed a year or two ago and all but one democrat voted against considering it and moving it out of committee. That’s what has me worried.

Since voting doesn*t matter anymore, but counting does, maybe we should all volunteer to count rather than vote

Back when the "sanctuary city" thing started, I thought it was a very slippery slope. Add in the "legal" weed in many states (not that I care), but there is still federal law prohibiting it. When the commies choose to ignore law, we need to pay attention.

If others can ignore federal law, why can't we?

    Do not comply.

I'm above the law, just like our politicians. They can ban whatever they want, I follow my own laws. Not theirs.

wouldnt it still have to go through the republican control senate. so it would depend on how easily they roll over. the best thing that could happen is they stall everything that dems and shapiro want to do.

Pennsylvania could be the next Virginia. Soros had a successful surgical strike there. Virginia has had some reversal since then, but not where they were originally.

We need to keep Soros out of at least one branch of the Pennsylvania legislature.
