I haven't been since early 2020, but if I remember right, you have to walk through fixed metal detectors

I just went looking since I was curious if I was remembering right (because my memory is going to crap), and because I wanted to go to a game too, but I didn't want to have to ditch my piece in the car. And unless they ripped them out since 2020 when I was last there....

    PPL Center adds metal detectors

You might notice something different the next time you attend a Lehigh Valley Phantoms game at the PPL Center in Allentown.

Beginning Thursday metal detectors will be added to all of the entrances at the PPL Center. The added safety measures are being put in place to complement the same procedures that are currently used by the NHL, NBA, NFL, and MLB, according to PPL Center officials.

I can confirm that as of 11/13/2022 the PPL is not CCW friendly. Sorry guys, but the Phantoms won and it was a great game.
