I caught the election lady lying right to my face. We got a receipt this time at the bottom of the ballot. I asked her why we didn't get one for the 2020 election? She lied right to my face and said that there was tear off receipts for 2020 and she knows damn right well I complained about there was none and I told her she was a damn liar and this is why no one trust this process anymore. I have lost all confidence in the electoral system, there is zero integrity in the way we vote and this will probably be the last time I waste my time voting and have no idea who my vote was counted for. I'm done with it. I was #841 at 3pm

That is how the machine in my little hicktown precinct works. Way better than the punch card/hanging chad routine where I used to live.

With today's technology, there's no reason why a reciept number can't show who you voted for. Go to a website, punch in the number and "this ballot voted for these candidates".



Swear I've never heard of this until now and I've voted in every election in PA since 2018.

I have voted since 1982, always in Philadelphia and never got a receipt. The machines have changed slightly over time.

Apparently each county in Pennsylvania has its own system.

I tell that douche leftist every single time I vote that I don't trust that machine is counting my vote the way I voted and that there should be a way to ensure that it does. The answer I always get that they can't do that because of privacy. Then I tell her it should be up to me not you you if I want to ensure my vote is counted the way I voted. Fuck it, I'm done with it. I now refuse to participate in this corruption.

What exactly would you want to ensure your vote is counted the way you want?

Taking your ball and going home is not going to solve anything.
