    Default 80% receiver confusion (again)

So I got on to the Polymer 80 website, because they had 80% (unserialized ) lowers for $40. Imagine my horror when I saw my beloved Pennsylvania in the same list as the iron curtain states. Ilk such as California, New York, New Jersey, Hawaii, and (gasp) Massachusetts! No 80% to Pa. After spewing a pile of swear words at our Governor, I went to MMC Armory. They had 80% Polymer 80 receivers, minus the jig and drill bits. No problem shipping to Pa.

Canít believe Iím the only one to notice, but Iíve not seen anything about this on here.

    Anybody know whatís up?

PA law has not changed. 80 percents are still just as legal as they were in 1791, despite the best efforts of candidate/AG Shapiro.

Not sure what's up with Polymer80's arbitrary policy about PA.

Are they no longer able to sell them with the jig?

That seems to be what I'm seeing now.
    Also seeing jigs sold alone.
Boy, THAT was a brilliant solution to a non-existent problem.

Some people are just stupid and need educated. I had a website cancel my ammo order because i lived in "philadelphia". i called htem up and said i'm no where near philadelphia, but as far as i know, they have no ammo restrictions. They checked on it and said ok they'll ship my order.

Might be worth a phone call.

Yeah, both places say no jigs or drill bits. No problem for me, still have some from before. They also say nothing else can be included in the order for 80%*s, or it will be cancelled. WTF? That crashing noise you hear is the national crime rate falling to zero, thanks to this brilliant tour-de-force orchestrated by our saviors in DC.

Essentially the atf decided that the term readily converted means its somehow a firearm, this is only if the same company sells the jig and frame or the frame comes with the jig and tooling to complete it. Now ... all this means is that you cannot purchase them from the same company. You can purchase the frame, and then a jig/toooling from someone else, not readily convertible ( per the overlords).

Fast forward to Polymer 80 they stopped shipping to PA a while ago due to the whole attempt at Shapiro to say they were firearms. They never followed up or bothered to have their attorneys even attempt to look into PA law. 80 % arms however just jumped on the tactical machining lawsuit and was also granted a preliminary injunciton . They can now sell the pistols and frames together. Polymer 80 went a different route, they instead of fighting decided to make Delta Team tactical and it's subsidiary companies their sole distributor of frames. Then other companies will have to source the frames only from them. The jigs are available at several different vendors as well.

Not for nothing 80% Arms is stupid proud of their shit, but they stepped up when Polymer 80 didn't
