National, Local, whatever
Just received this as a reward for requesting a "Yeah, we dunnit" sticker, and thought I'd let everyone who voted for Obama know about this fabulous opportunity to join with your pogressive compatriots. Note how Democrats always have free time during the work week.
This is a note for you from Rachel S., another MoveOn member in Pittsburgh:
Dear MoveOn member, Hi! I'm Rachie Sacks, one of your neighbors in Squirrel Hill.Like so many others, I've been savoring Obama's historic victory -- and I want to make sure we keep the momentum going! So on Thursday, 11/20, I'm hosting a "Fired Up and Ready to Go" gathering for everyone in the area who wants to keep this campaign going--and you're invited!
MoveOn is organizing these all around the country. The plan is to kick off a big campaign to help Obama pass bold, progressive changes. We're going to get started organizing locally to make sure Congress feels pressure to work with Obama on his key initiatives. And we're going to brainstorm about what else we can do. I'm hopeful that Obama's going to push for real change on the economy, the climate crisis, health care, and the war. But there's no way he can do it without millions of us by his side.
And that starts right here in Pittsburgh. So please come to my gathering and bring a friend -- we're fired up and ready to go!
Here are the details:

Why did you want a "Yeah we dunnit" sticker, if you didn't "Do it"? Just curious.

It's a "free" sticker, so I'm spending Moveon.org's money, frivolously. The more they spend on mailing stickers, the less they have to spend on progressive Obama rallies.

No Hard Feelings...
The election day is over,
The talking is done.
My party lost, your party won.
So let us be friends,
Let arguments pass.
I'll hug my elephant,
You kiss your ass.Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy.
