WallyPark Theft
My wife parked our Ford Escape last Wednesday at WallyPark in Phila while she was flying to her sister's house in SC. When she got back this Sunday, she found her catalytic converter had been sawed off and stolen. WallyPark hasn't had much to say to us on the subject. If you use them while travelling, beware!
I have always used WallyPark in the past for probably 30 years and never had a problem. I guess I'll need to find a safer alternative for the future, if such a place exists in Philthy.

Re: WallyPark Theft
They really have that lax of security? I'd want some compensation... Though I'm sure they absolve themselves of responsibility in the fine print

That really sucks. I'd be pissed. I'd be giving them hell, replacements can be in the thousands.

Re: WallyPark Theft
First, Wally Park tried to imply it didnt happen there. Obviously impossible. When the car was first started, even a deaf man knew it was f$%#'d! Then, they told us to send an email to the supervisor. Havent heard a word since. Phila police dont give a crap. Sucks! Hopefully, insurance covers all but the deductible. But we're out of a car for a while, depending on when they can get the cat in.

Always used Smart Park. Not that big but seems busy at all times so maybe not a good target. Like to catch those fuckers in the act.

I had bad vibes about WP - not fenced in - easy access from adjacent roadway. I expect her car was one of many that weekend.
Been using Colonial Parking last few years - never any issues and at less cost!
