    I mean, if we are talking Taurus I would wholeheartedly add their model 605 snubby for consideration.

    I had one in stainless for a number of years and never had issues. That model has been around a while and is generally well regarded, and it's all steel construction so the recoil is a tad better. Only got rid of it for greater capacity/because I upgraded.

    I have the Bond Arms with the .410/ .45 long colt barrels - it is a bear to shoot - not pleasant at all (but really cool nonetheless) - with ,410 shotgun shells, I have had some brands pattern ok, and others that completely missed he empty soda can at 5 paces ... I would rather have my SW Airweight 638 with the shrouded hammer and shotshells for the first 2 chambers. Also, a snake 5 yards from you is not a threat - leave 'em be .
