which ak-47 is better

i was wondering which ak47 is a better gun all around.. the wasr ak-47 or the sar ak47? both in 762.39..

You should consult the search feature in the rifle sub-forum for a rich collection of information on AK comparisons. This will give you better information than you will likely get from a new comparison as this topic has been discussed in depth before.

Generally, however, WASR's are considered to be of the lower quality Kalashnikov models.

Yuppers, wouldn't own anything else.

Since they are so popular maybe the mods should create a sticky at the top of this section just about AKs and maybe about ARs .. like a general info thread just for such occasions.

i have a wasr and its been very reliable so far, bought some mods for it and i love it...easy to use, clean, and modify...

SAR.

I own a WASR, it is a good gun, and still an AKm but I think the SAR's were put together with a little more attention to detail.

The monkeys at Century have been known to make more than a few mistakes on the WASRs.
