Range the target with the integrated laser. Onboard computer does the calculation, figures holdover. Optic tell you where to aim and shows it ON the reticle. Pull trigger. 200, 400, 700 yards...lights out. Pretty cool.

These have been around for sometime. They work great, sure. Until they DON*T! There is a reason why top Optics manufacturers have not jumped on board. Because laser guidance is great in sub Billion dollar piece of equipment. However, in an Optic made by Vortex* eh. Remember that $500, $600, $700 Eotech*s were considered super-dee-duper awesome, until it was discovered they are JUNK, and a $200 Primary Arms Halo works every bit as well.
