Default KISS AR’s, gotta have at least one.

Most AR’s today have rails, optics, lights, back up sights, gas blocks etc. There’s still a place for a basic, no frills KISS AR in the arsenal. I have 4 setup similar to this one. This is a 11.5” BCM sbr that I really like shooting. Not much can go wrong as far as optic failure, batteries dying etc.

Replaced the original furniture with Magpul stuff and added a Geissele SSP trigger.

Who else likes and has some basic AR’s

Nothing wrong with basic. They were basic for a very long time and got the job done.

My RRA, Entry Tactical, has a carry handle on the rail and iron sights... no bells or whistles.

I have a S&W Sport that, other than a sling, I keep just as it came.

My dissipator is still one of my favorites to take to the range.

Always liked the dissipator, for some reason they never really caught on. 16* gun with rifle length sights, pretty nice setup IMO.

Yep. This is my (essentially) bare bones AR15.

    Colt take-off carry handle
    Magpul furniture/foregrip
GG&G Sling Thing front sight sling mount
    ALG Defense Sidewinder muzzle brake
    Gear Sector 2 point sling

I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

My first AR was a plain Jane Colt R6600.
