It*s funny because this guy thinks he*s the only one that owned an AR before 2012. This is going of topic in my own thread but here goes anyway.

Back in 2004 I modified my LMT 14.5* M4, the lower is a LMT LE marked and the upper a LMT 14.5*. I bought a 12* Daniel Defense rail, cut the A2 FSB down and trimmed to fit under it and had a phantom FH pin and welded.

So you see he*s not as innovative as he believes he is. Here*s some pics of it to prove a point.

The 12* DDMS rail replaced the DD Omega rail, which was released in like 2008.. even that is 4 years after the quoted date, and the 2 rails have completely different barrel nut mounting systems. How do I know all this? Because I was actually doing this all these years & remember seeing articles which makes it easy to find them.
