Depends on what type of clothing/dress would be best for said SHTF. Probably a Glock 45.

If it's SHTF The characteristics I would want in a handgun that I would use is the gun having night sights or optics, that I have lots of large capacity magazines (at least 15 rounds) and I had a combat rig to carry the gun and mags since I not going to worry about concealment in that situation. Since I would likely be primary using a long gun a combat rig will be necessary to carry extra mags and of course the gun. With that in mind it will likely be Shadow systems MR 920 or CZ P07.

CZ P-01. I have tons of mags for it (and the 19 rnd mags from my SP-01 will fit in a pinch), various holsters, and I shoot it well. Definitely not because I just spent $300 having it tuned and would hate to waste the money even if S was HTF.

If I had one, I would go with an AR pistol. I want a 10inch in 300 Blackout, but I don't have one, yet.
