Is AR15 style rifle allowed now for deer hunting?

Is there any news on AR15 style rifle hunting for deers. I would prefer to not spend a couple of hundreds just for deer.

Also is it allowed on private land?

You could use an *ar 15 style* rifle if you convert it to *manually operated action*.
There are various ways to do that.

Going on a hunt for brown bear is going to cost WAY more than picking up a new PA-approved deer rifle.
