Re: Building a 80% AR
Back to the topic..
If you want to machine your own Lower & are worried about it, like I said either do the Anodizing or use Anti-walk pins as someone mentioned. Problem solved.
For those who enjoy the DIY world, they really are fun to machine. Here, a few up ready for Cerakoted. (Cerakote.. something else I taught myself to do* even use a the curing oven I BUILT! Yeah, did that with one arm/hand as well!)
What gives piece of mind is finishing, and then go look online at the prices of a 100% 7075 Billets. Gives a sense of accomplishment those who only BUY will never know. Similar to reloading. I love hearing about ballistics and ammo this & that*from guys who have never reloaded! It*s comical! Another one I like is the argument of cost. When a guy goes on about this costing so much more with all the extra tooling & what not. Which is correct. But this same guy will spend $150 on a Colt MilSpec Lower over a $50 Anderson. Too funny the logic in that argument.Remember Biden the Pedophile! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uSRqaO6DXcA
