GLOCK AR15 - Is it About to Become Reality?

There are certain people here who would be first in line to get one. Then immediately go on about what high quality it is.. and SOO much more accurate than any other AR. I love Glocks, but they need to stay in their lane.

This same thread is going on at HighRoad as well. Someone joked, Glock is making a G1911 next year. But same thing.. the same guys here would get one of those as well. Ignorance is bliss. And Gump already told us what Stupid is.

I'm an unapologetic "buys nearly everything Glock" person.

I'm certain it'll be reliable, probably more worthy than my Colt for the "all hell breaking loose" gun.

If they make a civilian version, I'm in.

Just curious, What is ailing your Colt that would disqualify for it for self defense ? I have a 48 year old SP1 Sporter that has never malfunctioned

As with all the other clones it comes down to price and componentry. You can buy a clone now that's low priced that comes with lower end components or you can buy one that is expensive that comes with all the highest end components. Then there is everything in between. Choice is good when it comes to AR's. It's more than likely Glock will have some sub contractor build it with the Glock engraving on it.

Glock is probably the only manufacturer who could get by with successfully marketing and selling a polymer AR. And yet they didn't take advantage of that.

That's the Glock 15 (no AR), companion to the Glock 7. Both are porcelain guns made in Germany. They don't show up on airport X-ray machines here and they cost more than what you make in a month.
