Default Salvaging a wrong part order

Ordered a VG6 Gamma for ( I thought) my AKM. Received it today. 1/2x28RH thread
It's a Gamma 762. I think I was confused by that 762. Turns out it means 7.62/.308/ 300 AAC Blackout.

Hate returning stuff. Especially if it substantially adds to the overall project cost. Then I got to wondering if there is a conversion adapter. Turns out there is. 14x1 female to 1/2x28 male. (Opposite configuration available too) A little pricy including shipping, but now the brake can be used on a metric barrel and an American barrel.

It's just plastic money. Can't take it with me, and the kids will just waste it.
There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.

You did it wrong, you're supposed to buy a new gun with the correct threading on the barrel.

You're supposed to build a new gun around the wrong, part, then order the right part.
