Central Connecticut is an easy shot across I-84 from the Poconos (a few hours).

Yes you can bring your stuff to Connecticut for training, including suppressors (CT is an NFA state).

(Lock your stuff up in the trunk and bring your PA LTC with you).

What is different about a night vision class vs. a regular shooting class? It's all about the gear.

Prior carbine and pistol training with a reputable instructor (like Joe Riedy ) is a pre-requisite.

Night Fighter is an open enrollment class designed for, Law Enforcement, and law-abiding civilians. It provides instruction to armed professionals who are looking to become more proficient in no-light/low-light operations. This class focuses on increasing the students* night vision skillsets during real world operations through lecture and range evolutions. Students will participate in a variety of evolutions to include but not limited to, individual movement, weapons manipulation, use of cover/concealment under NODs and Live Fire drills.

Training night 1 will begin at 2 PM and end at 1 AM the next day. Training night 2 will begin at 3 PM and end 1 AM the next day. Please plan accordingly. Night shoots will take place on TN-1 and TN-2.

Prerequisites - A vetted basic level carbine class and pistol course. Competent gun handling and shooting skills are a must. Although this is a beginning Night Vision course, it should be considered advanced firearms training due to the nature of using NV equipment and being conducted in the dark.

Attention, Please Read

Nightfighter is not a shooting course! Even though we do a fair amount of shooting, that is the medium used to learn about the employment of the Night Vision equipment and other Night Fighting gear. You will be expected to be a safe and proficient shooter and gun handler. You owe it to yourself to be an experienced shooter and student of the gun otherwise you may find yourself needing to pay more attention to to your shooting and less to the learning you actually paid for. Unsafe and or negligence will not be tolerated and can result in being sent home without completion.
