Being prepared for a short natural disaster is good. But being prepared for the collapse of the infrastructure nationwide or worldwide is different, because your preps will suddenly become "the resources our community has" within a few weeks, and the local satraps will form emergency committees and send around survey groups to inventory "our" assets. So your fuel and food and weapons and ammo and other key supplies will be seized and distributed "equitably" to those who didn't deny themselves during good times.

Prepare, but stay quiet about it to your neighbors. If you can figure out how to hide your generator and its exhaust, do so. When the courts close down, the laws mean nothing. Hell, they don't mean much right now if you wear a MAGA hat and the FBI knows about it. Imagine what the Biden puppet show would do during a real widescale disaster, with gun bans and hoarding EO's and arrests and searches of homes. If you have 6 months of food while the family of 5 next door only has cell phones that stopped working and designer purses and drug dependency, the Wokesters will take your food and hand it to the needy next door.

Preppers were already blamed for hoarding by the grasshoppers when Covid started and the stores quickly ran out of toilet paper. It just needs to be a more severe event for it to be pushed further. The grasshoppers wanted the government to do something then about all those evil prepping hoarders.

Pickpockets and scammers know how to distract you so that your normal situational awareness is nullified. Like the phishing emails saying "your credit card was used to purchase explosives for terrorists in Pakistan, if this wasn't you and the FBI shouldn't raid your home, hit REPLY and provide ID for your safety . . . "

Best way to get you out of your home isn't to knock and say "please come outside". It's a phone call saying your child is bleeding out and go to the hospital ASAP to donate blood. You'll be panting at the hospital talking to mystified nurses while your generator and food and guns are being handtrucked to municipal vans.

How much of a conscience do the Woke have? They purposely sent Covid-infected young people into retirement homes and barred the homes from testing them. Do the math.

In today*s political climate that One Second After bullshit where the local govt. shows up to collect your property for the greater good is going to get very expensive.

I don*t think it would take long for the locals to figure that shit out and be waiting for the next confiscation. Not to mention the effect of having a few local politicians disappear off the face of the earth. Or even out and out assassinated in a public place to get the message across.

Maybe we have differing ideas of what a "no rule of law" society is.
When the PoPo starts going into people's homes and taking what they want, it's time to stop doing what they say, stop trusting them, stop travelling alone, stop letting them get close enough to the front door to knock on it. When they start going into people's homes to take stuff, it's time to start going after them for all the cool toys they carry around.
