Ah a 12 gauge, probably why I*m not familiar with it. Pretty neat little blaster for sure.

I thought about one, but 3500.00 was more than I wanted to pay. Badass for sure.

If I'm dropping that kinda coin, might as well save my pennies for a little longer and get the sauce.

Serious question, not nitpicking...what is the rationale for buying an AR above a certain quality/price point? I'm assuming there is a marginal gain in reliability at some point, so is it just branding or is there a gain in "real value" did to smoother performance, lighter weight, etc.?

I put my dollars to a Daniel Defense AR10 so I think by default that has to be my answer.

Given your price point BCM and Geissele would make my list. And I love the Geissele triggers.

It may be a little bit of everything you mentioned, at least imo.

My decision to purchase Geissele rifles was helped by what you get for your money. I can*t speak for others because all my other AR*s are in the 1300.00 range and less.

These things may not mean much to most but it made my decision to spend the extra money.

DD top notch, dig their MK18 and when I was buying my two choices were a DD MK18 10.3 or a Super Duty 10.3, went with the Geissele because their triggers are great and the Super Duty comes with a SSA-X, and they*re made in Pa. I wouldn*t have been disappointed with the DD either. It came down to personal preference.
