    YMMV

There is brick on 2 sides of the apartment, the other 2 are just dry walls and possibly some other type of wooden wall.

Shooting out of my bed room door would also hit the unit across.

My 4 year old son sleeps in the other bed room. So if an invader comes through main door and goes directly to son's room. I'd have to go "hunt" him.
A party wall is a firewall between unit. No have? Given all the exposure you're mentioning I think maybe you better search out some form of "less lethal" defense that would not require close contact.

Maybe something like this. https://shop.pepperball.com/ Have and use your firearm as a backup.

I'm just surprised that nobody has stormed in and shouted that a shotgun is a better choice because 12GA 00 Buck will not over penetrate the way 5.56 will.
Happens every time I've ever seen this topic.

That would be true if I were to suggest such stupidity.

I think I'm just going to stick with PMC 55gr fmj, cheap target stuff. I have a Holosun 510 on it which I'm very accurate with.
