When I was in Tijuana (TJ), the vendors were all saying, "first sale of the day". After hearing this about ten times I asked what the hell it was all about. Well...their schtick is that they lose money on the first sale to break the dam and get the day moving. I'd like to see that practice at the gun shows.

Same in Asia.... If a sale isn't made to the first customer, superstition says they will have a bad day.

I will be there at doors-open today sporting a "Come and take It" t-shirt but with a F-15

I'll be there with a cohort in the early afternoon. Hopefully, ScotsGuards and Marines55 will still be looking to get their sales moving.

Does anyone know who will do a private hand gun transfer? Or will most dealers do that?

I was there and identified a dealer right next to the food court area. Also I will be there again on Sunday and selling an FNX 45, Glock 40 Gen 4 and Springfield 1911 Loaded if anyone's interested in looking at them.

Anyone know if there's an ideal spot/area setup for people doing private sales? I didn't spot anything when there but who knows

I'd check with ScotsGuards, AKA Highland Arms. Just don't let him pick your pockets whilst you're there.

Yeah, there's some tables near the smoothie/funnel cake stand. Just set up at one of them with a sign on what you have for sale.

I thought this show was better than what we've had recently. Lots of guns, ammo and reloading components. Prices are still high for the most part with some reasonable deals to be found here and there, if the stuff's not sold already. Ammo cans are down a little.

I think I saw Bogey's buddy there. There were two guys selling a bunch of stuff that looked they were cleaning out their basement but they denied having any knowledge of a Bogey1 from DELCO.
